Welcome
Two thousand years ago when Jesus walked on the earth He was in the business of changing lives! Jesus wasn’t afraid or put off by people’s problems, struggles and needs. Whether physical, emotional or spiritual, Jesus cared for those who looked to Him for help and He brought freedom, life and wholeness wherever He went.
At Prairie Winds Centre we don’t believe much has changed! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He is still passionate about bringing healing and freedom to those who look to Him for help.
Jesus may not be here on earth physically right now, but He has anointed His people to fulfill the same commission: To preach about the Kingdom of God, heal the sick and cast out demons.
Who we are and what we do…
Prairie Winds Centre (Lifepath Ministries) is a non-denominational Christian ministry. We look to serve the Body of Christ in two main ways – by offering personal prayer ministry to those in need and by training and equipping people so that they can help others more effectively.
The sad truth is that many Christians feel that there is no real answer to the problems they face on a daily basis – problems such as fear and anxiety, addictions and anger outbursts, long-term consequences of trauma or abuse and relationship dysfunction… to name but a few. The list is endless! The wonderful fact, however, is that God is willing, able and longing to restore His people and equip them to fulfill all the plans He has for them! No man or woman is excluded and we have seen thousands of lives healed and transformed since the work began.
What exactly do we mean by the word Healing?
Our definition of healing is simple. We believe healing is God’s supernatural work of bringing order into a person’s life where there has been disorder! It includes looking at the root problems that may be the cause of a person’s struggle – dealing with any unforgiveness, generational inequity, sin, wounding, or hold of the enemy. As we help a person do business with God in forgiving, repenting and making godly choices, we then pray for the Lord to bring His healing. It’s not the weird picture of healing that some people have – just basic discipleship.
We live by our convictions, the core values that make us who we are. The Bible is our guide to life, not only because it is good, but because it is true. We believe in the triune God, salvation and healing comes through Jesus alone.
